He has collaborated with a wide range of some of the greatest musicians from various genres and is responsible for bringing the Indian violin onto the global platform. The global fusion concept was created by him in mid 1970s, and he has established himself as a force that is strongly Indian but universal in nature and approach. No other musician can boast of such a diverse repertoire and collaborations or such mind-boggling techniques, as he conquers his audience with the elegance and virtuosity of his style.
